Who This Is For

This trainee position is for a trainee hair stylist who feels called to work more deeply with people experiencing hair loss and wants to specialise in wigs and hair loss services within a supportive, ethical clinic environment.

This is not just an assistant role; it’s a hands-on training opportunity for someone who wants to build real skill, confidence, and emotional intelligence when working with clients navigating hair loss.

You’ll be trained directly by me in hair loss services whilst assisting me with client care, consultations, systems, and best practice, and supporting the day-to-day running of the hair loss clinic, washing and prepping wigs and Toppers.

What You’ll Learn

As a trainee, you’ll receive in-clinic training and mentoring in:

• Professional wig services and fittings

• Client consultations for hair loss

• Client care, empathy, and communication

• Aftercare, maintenance, and education for clients

• Clinic systems, hygiene standards, and professional practice

• Supporting clients emotionally as well as practically

• How to work ethically and sensitively within hair loss services

This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a long-term career in hair loss and alternative hair. You will be required to also attend college to receive your NVQ Level 1 and 2

What You’ll Be Doing

Alongside your training, you’ll also assist within the clinic, which may include:

• Supporting clients before, during, and after appointments

• Preparing wigs and treatment spaces

• Assisting during consultations and fittings

• Helping with clinic organisation and daily operations

• Providing warm, supportive client care

This is a people-facing role and requires emotional maturity, professionalism, and genuine compassion.
